Any ideas for an inexpensive fancy dress outfit - country themed!

DH and I are off to a 60th birthday in three weeks and the theme is countries.
We are looking for ideas?? Iceland (the shop) no longer do plastic carrier bags so our idea of cobbling together something out of them is out). We’re not looking to buy or hire expensive outfits so if anyone has any ideas that would be much appreciated. The more unusual the better. Thanks 😊

Wear green for Greenland or a cardboard cut out fin for Finland? Sheet as a toga for Greece?

A cardboard no entry sign with an R in the middle - No(r)way?

All in brown and go as a couple of Belgian chocolates?

One of you could wear some old white garments with a big red cross drawn/pinned on, as a homage to the Swiss flag.

If you can get hold of a yellow fluorescent tabard and can make a placard saying "en grève " you could go as France.

Wear a tablecloth, a napkin round your neck and carry a knife and fork - Hungary
