Hard water shower head filters- worth it!

It popped on product recommendations in the Guardian. The particular product was called Hello Klean. I think it is very expensive. Does anyone use them? Perhaps a different, cheaper make? Do they make a difference? Am considering investing if it will help with the hard water build up on my hair and scalp.
thsnks🙂

I don’t know but I’m following with interest as we’ve got incredibly hard water here and I realised just what a difference it makes to your hair when I went to stay with relatives that have super soft water.

I looked at that Hello Klean but a good few reviews said it was a bugger to fit and impossible to get off.

I was going to recommend one of these, but then I saw the price of the Hello Klean and it's considerable cheaper!

This does your whole water system though, not just the shower. Lot of money but I'm considering it for not having to constantly fight limescale:

@gingersnappz whole water systems are expensive! I am just looking to replace the shower head for when I wash my hair. I live near Brighton- limescale galore! I am hoping to transform my skin and hair and use less product.
I remember washing my hair on a holiday in Cornwall and couldn’t believe the bubbles and the lather and my hair was so soft and swishy.

DH bought one from Amazon, only £20-30 and it definitely makes a difference to my hair. Not as much as living in a soft water area but I still recommend.

Hi I found this thread as I have the same problem and came on to MN to see if anyone had tried the hello Klean.
@Nimbus9000 would you mind posting a link to the one you have? Thank you
