Wrong picture! The 999 system is down nationally - use 101 in an emergency.

I know,I was trying to work out how to delete it, so have started a new thread and reported this one.

I've reported your OP @julie81 so they can pop the right picture up, or you'll have no end of "whats minces pies got to do with 999" posts

Just saw this - unbelievable that this can happen. Hope nobody has come to harm as a result.

Why's it unbelievable? It's a phone line - of course problems can arise.

It's back up now, 999 can be used again.
