Unknown charges on card from Google

I've got two £1 charges on my credit card this morning and I can't think what they might relate too. One is marked Google Services and the other Google Temporary Hold.
I do buy a fair amount of shit online but I'm stumped and can't think what they might be for.
Any ideas?

If you've played a game on your phone and bought coins/lives etc it will show up as this.

Sometimes Google pay holds money. So if you bought something on the internet, it will put through a £1 when you buy it and the rest comes through later. Have you bought anything online?

The only thing I bought yesterday was I paid £10 to Gift Round for the teacher end of year present but I can see that charge on there.

Any updates on this as just happened to me twice

I never got to the bottom of it. I raised a query with Google and they eventually came back to me with a rejection of my refund request with no explanation. The charges just disappeared.
Still no idea what it was about.

I’ve just called my credit card and they told me I have to contact google.
