It’s an arsehole thing to ask

I'm your exact height. Gone from 75kg (considered self a bit chunky, health check doctor confirmed this Blush). Now 65kg. Happy.

Findyourneutralspace · 24/06/2023 22:32

Sounds good to me

Fatkittythinkitty · 24/06/2023 22:32

Don't be daft. You must know that's a healthy weight

That’s an amazing loss, well done you! How did you do it?

So glad to see you are happy 😃

Your sense of self worth shouldn't come from how tall you managed to grow and how much your body weighs.

waistchallenge · 24/06/2023 22:33

I'm just slightly taller and I don't weigh myself anymore but as I recall I looked best literally about 60kg or just a few pounds lighter but that's because I carry weight around my middle in a horrible way. So I would feel slim but with a tiny few pounds to lose off my abdomen.

I thought I was fat at 46kg so unfortunately I don’t trust my judgment

That's really just down to me, though. I'm one of those that looks pregnant without being pregnant! 😔

Sycasmores · 24/06/2023 22:35

That's about me and I'm chunky. I don't carry it well at all. If I was more muscle and toned at that weight it would be fine but I'm not! I carry it all in my face and tummy

EllaPaella · 24/06/2023 22:35

It's a very healthy weight for your height.

Abouttimemum · 24/06/2023 22:35

That’s a healthy weight for sure

I know it shouldn’t but unfortunately right now it does

It's a slim and healthy weight.

BringOnSummer2023 · 24/06/2023 22:38

I'm 5 7 and 66kg and I'm certainly not overweight or chunky! Fit in a 12 mostly with a 14 sometimes mainly for big boobs. so a big bigger than you but not "big"... You're a healthy weight and certainly can't be fat or chunky.

Anaemiafog · 24/06/2023 22:38

If you thought you were fat at 46kg you clearly shouldn't be asking. Please don't volunteer to put yourself in a tailspin.
I'm 5'4 and 40kg through illness. I'd love to be 60...

TheWorldisGoingMad · 24/06/2023 22:39

Depends what you look and feel like. Are you happy in your own skin? That's what matters.

Take me for example. I'm not. I dropped the ball on the 2nd lockdown in the pandemic. Loneliness and the menopause hit hard. My insatiable appetite went through the roof, which I can't see to control and I hate myself for it. I'm carrying 2 extra stones (maybe 3) and my confidence is zero, as no clothes fit or look remotely good. 😳 An accident and a few injuries later and I'm stuck unable to do any exercise. The combination is defeating. I need a good slap round the chops with a wet fish to slap me out of this rut, as I'm well and truly in the groove.

Now then.... do you feel better? 😁 I think I'd be happy where you are. You weigh one of my legs. 🦵🤣

Albatross674 · 24/06/2023 22:39

I’m the same height and would be delighted to weigh doublle that (working on losing)
so it’s all relative!

Desdemonadryeyes · 24/06/2023 22:41

I’m 5ft 6ins and 101kg

knock yoursen out

Whenwillitallmakesense · 24/06/2023 22:43

It's obviously you have issues around your weight OP if you thought 46kg, so I'm not sure it's advisable to be asking a bunch of strangers to give opinions on whether they think you're overweight or not. I'd advice if you're eating a balanced diet and feel healthy, then that's all that matters. If you're becoming too focused on your weight and it's affecting your self-worth, then maybe some counselling might be an idea

Purplecatshopaholic · 24/06/2023 22:44

That’s my height and weight! Too heavy for me - I dont suit it (thanks Covid, and menopause, lol) - I am usually just under 9stone and look and feel much better. I totally understand that both weights (my current and my usual) are in the healthy weight range btw.

Argole · 24/06/2023 22:46

I’m so tired of looking at photos and thinking I look large.

I genuinely don’t know if I need to lose half a stone or have a reality check.

First world problems , innit

I am 2ft 4 ins and weigh 2,100 kgs.

I snack all day, but then I am a Manta Ray.

Gymmum82 · 24/06/2023 22:51

I would say slim if not a bit too skinny.

Im 5 ft 5 and look my best at around 62kg. I do carry a lot of muscle deliberately. Any less and I’d probably be too lean
