We've told the supplier - ie we pointed it out, not them. The numbers aren't going round anymore.
They'll come and replace it but not for three weeks, "but don't worry, we'll base your bills on your usage for the same period last year".
This is my elderly parents and they, in common with many others have made significant energy savings since last year. My dad has become obsessive about it. Surely it can't be OK to guess usage for a period when the meter isn't working?
