I caught Covid 3 weeks ago and I just can't get going again. It's like my engine has stalled and won't go.

No housework done, getting behind with work related stuff. House a total mess.

How the hell do I just get my brain in gear again???

Treat it like a convalescence. Lots of healthy food, sleep, gentle exercise. No lates nights, alcohol, minimal sugar. You need to build your reserves back up.

also caffeine.

Take your time.

Slowly does it.

Vitamin c, vitamin d, magnesium, iron.

Lots of water - it's hot.

I had awful brain fog for weeks after covid last year. Took about 2 months to clear.

Post viral fatigue. Just go with the flow. You'll feel better with time .

Also, and this sounds ridiculous and might be tricky but get a note book and try to write down one thing that gives you joy or you are thank full for every day. I did a long covid recovery course and that really helped.

Thanks for your replies.
I had Covid last year and took me about three months to get over.
Work wise I have cancelled and delegated as much as I can. I am self employed so have the luxury of that.
Just trying to do small manageable amounts every day.

I think this year Covid hasn't been so bad, so hoping for a quicker recovery!

But is this going to be the new yearly norm???!
