We are going to Camp Bestival in Shropshire this year with the kids and just wondering if anyone who has been could share some insights on logistics. My only frame of reference for festivals is Glastonbury, which is such a different set up to other festivals.
- what time do we need to get there in the first place? Can we just rock up around the time the gates are due to open on the Thursday morning? (I'm used to queueing all night on the Wednesday night at Glasto which is not an appealing prospect with kids in tow!)
- how much of a trek is it from the car parks to the campsites? We have a trolley but also have quite a bit of gear so wondering how much of a slog it will be!
- any other general advice specific to this festival that it would be worthwhile knowing?
