Bank card charges in Jersey

Quick question. If using uk debit card in Jersey will we get bank charges?

Used the help option on my bank and the chat person is giving me conflicting answers. They said yes to charges then said no.

Would like someone to conform from recent experience please.

Nope you won't. I've lived here 16 years and still hold my mainland accounts and don't get charged

Nope. UK mainland cards are fine

But check your phone contract as you may have to pay for international roaming (sorry, unrelated, but in case you are traveling there)

Phew! It really annoyed me when some companies decided Jersey was going to be outside their 'free roaming' packages. I left 3 because of it, went to Smarty, then they did it too 😡
