Anyone watching? I thought I’d make a thread we can drop in and out of to chat about what’s on.

Texas are playing right now. What an absolute bloody delight to see Sharleen Spiteri, looking exactly like herself at 55, giving it all. Her voice is still amazing. Rock on!

Lol at ruddy big pig, god I loved Smash Hits. I used to write for 'serious' music mags in the 90s and SH was always sneered at, but it was The Best. Anyone remember Fab Macca Wacky Thumbs Aloft?

I'm ok with a few new ones but it's like Kelly Jones was in his own world and was just going on and on by himself 🤣. My cousin in law said she's never seen them so that and they're normally really good. I'd always wanted to see them as well so felt really let down.
Another one is we saw Ben Howard and his first album really helped me through a tough time and meant a lot to me. He'd unfortunately rejected the whole thing and played none of it 🤦🏻‍♀️

oh that’s a shame. I saw him on jools Holland last week, he was singing country and western type songs so I think he’d gone in another direction

I saw Bob Dylan once. He decided to do all his songs in a different style. I’d been dragged along by my lovely ex inlaws. It was horrendous and they were embarrassed they’d taken me along!

I am watching Monkeys now and reading this thread and I think 505 got better towards the end. I actually think this wasn't a bad set. They've evolved as a band. However we saw stereophonics at ynot last year and they were awful. Played loads of stuff we'd never heard and were really boring so I'm getting the same vibes.

Sorry I know this has already happened but just wanted to say if they did all the songs like RU Mine they would have smashed it
