Booked to have my hair done - agoraphobia kicking in.

I need some words of encouragement.. I’m edging closer to cancelling my appointment 😫

I developed agoraphobia about 8 years ago and haven’t been to the hairdressers since. In fact.. I actively avoid any situation where it’s not realistic to just get up and leave.

My appointment is at 10:30 and ever since I woke up I’ve had such a nervous bellyache and the shakes. But I am desperate to get my hair the way I want it for my wedding in September😂

Any tips on staying calm? Anyone else suffer agoraphobia? What helps?

Oh no do you take medication for it ? I'm sure I had it as part of my pnd years ago it was undiagnosed but I had heart palpitations etc I ended up on betablockers for a while,

anyway what I used to do is break the things I had to do into chunks.
so If I had the hairdressers I'd say to myself well after my coffee I'll see how I Feel Then go for a shower etc and every step was "see how I feel" until I got to where I needed to be. The end goal will be worth it and tell your hairdresser most are understanding to their clients .
