What is this ‘introducing your new feed’ thing?

Haven’t I already chosen what I want to see by hiding various sections? When I go into ‘active’ I only see threads from my chosen sections.

I don’t understand what the difference is between the new feed, and the one I have already done by not having certain sections visible in my Active feed.

No idea here either. Following with interest.

I'm also confused about it and don't understand what the benefit is.
Where the active tab would normally be at the bottom of a thread or board the myfeed tab has appeared so, much to my annoyance, I keep clicking on it by accident

How the hell do I get rid of the pop up promoting this every time I click on a new thread?! Driving me barmy
