Waitrose entertaining

Considering getting Waitrose Entertaining stuff for a family gathering, about 22 adults, in a couple of weeks.

As you have to confirm the order well in advance, does that mean you'll get exactly what you ask for in your delivery (no collection slots left)? No substitutions like with normal Waitrose orders?

What's the quality like generally? Would you recommend it if you've used it?

And what about the amount? Eg salads say serve 8, but I guess that means as a side? How many sides would you do? Don't want people to be hungry but equally don't want loads left over.

Sandwich/rolls etc platters say serve 4-6, so to cover 22 adults would I get 4 sandwich platters, 3 salads, maybe some sausage rolls and some fruit and dessert options? Does that sound right?

I've only ever tried it once, a good few years ago. They delivered everything except the side of beef

Usually, I'm their biggest fan but, just no. It turned out they knew for a few days that the beef would not be delivered but didn't give me any warning.

Oh no!

Hmmm. Anyone tried Sainsbury's? They actually look like they've got much better choice of salad etc.
