Can someone help with bra sizing

I am struggling. I have several 32g bras that feel right in the cup but the band feels too tight when I sit down. Not too tight when walking about. Possibly a little loose in the cup. I spoke to Bravissimo online (there is nowhere local where I can be measured). They suggested trying 32ff. So I’ve ordered some of those in different brand/styles. They feel too big all over. The band I can easily do up to the tightest hook, the straps all needed to be shortened and the cups also seemed too big - quite baggy at the, much more so than the g cup. I have some 34f’s that feel a bit small in the cup and don’t feel right either.

I just don’t know what I am supposed to be wearing. Annoyingly I don’t have a flat tape measure only a metal one but I think I’m about 32-33 under bust.

Use string ribbon whatever then measure it out flat against the metal tape.

All bra styles / brands are a bit different, a tricky game if you live in the middle of nowhere (?)

I don’t even live in the middle of nowhere, just a normal town but all the shops have gone!

Try the boob and but method. Website will help you with the measurements. The Facebook group is great for suggestions.

I can’t really help with sizing but I’d really recommend going to a proper fitter if you can. I measured myself the other week and was 34” over bust and 30” underbust which comes out at 30D! I went into a local indie and the lady said that seemed reasonable and gave me a selection of 30Ds to try on. I thought they felt a little tight at first but was assured that was because the 34Bs I’d been wearing were too big and baggy! I’ve never thought of myself as being bosomy and always thought a D cup meant big breasts but my new collection of 30Ds has been quite a revelation.

Sorry boob and bust method.

Yeah I bought the 32g’s before based on boob or bust method.

Look at sister bra sizing. You take your size and on the chart either side will be a sister back and cup. A sister side might be better for you. Order bras online from bra stop then you'll have lots of choice. I wear a 36h from curvy kate.

Ordered a sister size (34ff) in three different brands /styles… and they are too big in both cup and band. Trying 32gg next!

Fingers crossed OP!
