Alternative to flypaper

I seem to have loads of houseflies at my bay window this year. Not bluebottles thank goodness, we had them at a different window a few years ago thanks to a dead bird.

Dont want to use a spray near the window as it makes such a mess of the glass. I hate the look of fly papers hanging up but then I hate having flies.

Any suggestions thanks.

i use a fly screen door that sticks to frame with Velcro, best solution we’ve had by far as we have the back door open all the time. It has a join in the middle held together with magnets so you can get in and out. Relatively cheap on Amazon and you can get smaller ones for windows.
preventing them getting in is better than trying to deal with them once they are in

I got an Aspectek electronic professional indoor insect killer after being fed up year on year with flies etc. It is an absolutely horrible looking device. But we have absolutely no flies, moths, nothing. Amazon £46. Read the reviews they are hilarious. Worth it beyond. X
