NHS-I was so shocked by this!

I just read this article in the Guardian. It's really appalling. What a way to have to work, it's like a war zone.

I’m not a medical professional but I work for a public sector that supports people with health conditions. With some people, their health likely causes their outbursts but it’s still shocking. I’ve witnessed assaults and play by play death threats and rape threats over absolutely no wrong doing. It can really linger in the back of your mind for months to come. It can be hard to switch off from work.

I can imagine it’s underreported, even in my company things like this are brushed under the carpet especially for the sake of service user well being. Staff are just expected to get over it. I can imagine the nhs having a similar attitude especially with medical professionals
