Ideal picnic!!

This afternoon I am taking the DCs to our nicest and nearest beach (30 mins or so away drive) and we will have a picnic- if the weather holds of course!

I am just doing sausages and cold chicken and sandwiches, but just for fun- what is in YOUR ideal picnic?

I have a liking for a white bap with cheddar or ham….

my sil does beach bbqs with baked Camembert, flat garlic bread on the bbq and salad.

I always take grapes on a picnic, I rarely eat grapes at home (no idea why) but I love them with a picnic. I like a ciabatta roll with salami and cheese plus crisps. If I've got time and energy I make a rice salad with lots of interesting bits in it.
