Child changed when starting school, does it get better?

I've read lots of old threads about children changing their behaviour/personality when starting Reception. I've noticed that with DD as well: loss of confidence, exploding at home whilst being exemplary at school and so on.

I do wonder if it gets better or it's a symptom of something else. Any experiences?

It's often tiredness. Make sure they have a good routine day to day and it will get better.

I'm glad to hear it gets better, though I do wonder if it's a symptom of something else and we need to keep an eye on it.
