Nooo! Pen washed with my favourite T shirt.

Is there any hope of saving it? It's pretty much covered in ink. And I have never found that Vanish works. Any tips before it gets (sadly) binned)

I've read that surgical spirit removes ink stains, but never tried it myself.

A liberal spraying on both sides with hairspray always worked for me.
You might have to give it a couple of goes, but it's never failed me.

If you can't get it out, the Dylon pods would be very easy to use to change it to a dark and hopefully useable again colour, so don't immediately chuck it.

I've used vodka to remove ink by blotting, but if whole t-shirt that would be hard. However, soaking in some cheap vodka may loosen it enough to wash out a lot of it.

Don’t rewash it use hand sanitizer and blot it out with kitchen roll. Be prepared to use a lot of sanitizer it will lift out eventually.

Unfortunately it's pale with a multicoloured pattern on. So not dye-able

It's literally all over it. So not sure it's salvageable. 😰

Soak marks with nail varnish remover and then re wash. Need to do it a few times but it did get biro out of DS’s school shirt.

Try Dr Beckmann Stain Devils Pen & Ink? Worked for DS's top when he found a biro and was left alone for about 30 seconds...

No help with the ink but you might be able to find the same T shirt on Vinted to replace it

ACE bleach.

Soak in milk

When DD washed her blouse with a pen in the pocket we got it off by rubbing the marks with a bar of soap and rewashing

White spirit.

Seconding Dr Beckmann Stain Devils Pen & Ink. Follow directions exactly and don't try short cutting.
It saved Ds's suit when pen thoroughly exploded in pocket. It didn't look salvageable but unable to afford a replacement we went for it. Hugely helpful lovely customer services department as well as awesome product.
