Sensitive: news story today

There's been a news story today across various different sites. I won't link it but it involves animals. I read it and it was honestly so upsetting, I'm annoyed with myself for reading it but it was also so much worse than I could have imagined.

Trying to take my mind off it but it was awful.

I started reading it and had to stop. Horrific, senseless. Genuinely one of the worst things I’ve read in a long long time. I just can’t understand it in any way. I can’t imagine how the activists and journalists and law enforcement managed to cope with what they must have seen.

Don’t avoid reading this stuff. It’s important that we read it, that we’re aware, that we raise awareness, that we protest, that we support the people investigating, that we make it easier to stop. This choice is the bravest to make, don’t beat yourself up for reading it.

The headline is awful enough already, I will keep avoiding. I have great admiration for the people who investigate these horrors and make a difference for the animals. And I completely agree with the PP’s who feel all of the human monsters involved must be publicly exposed.

I also feel they should be executed (preferably painfully), the implications of the story headline alone are nightmare inducing and (IMO) prove these depraved degenerates are too foul and too vile to be allowed to live.

I read it yesterday and wish I hadn't, I can't stop thinking about it. It the worst report I've ever read, I still feel shaken by it 24hrs after first seeing the article.

I don't understand how people can do it. I don't understand what is wrong in their brains but I honestly feel that anyone involved should have the same inflicted on them.

I really feel for the investigators having to look into it as well. They will be so traumatised.
