Evening in Nottingham

DD and I are coming to Nottingham for the ladies cricket 😊 I’m just after any suggestions for nice pubs for gin and wine, and somewhere nice for tea on Saturday. Thank you!!

Trent Bridge is in West Bridgford .There are quite a few lovely places to eat there -Italian ,Greek ,Chinese (Yumacha) Thai (giggling squid) ,Wagammamas ,Tapas (Escabeche ) plus nice bars and pubs .
Nottingham itself has too many choices to mention !-Bar Iberico good choice or anywhere in Hockley

I was going to write an almost identical post to @3isthemagicnumber! There is enough in west Bridgford for a nice night out there. In town bar Iberico has a great menu at the moment. You can't book but if there is a wait for a table you can take a buzzer and have a wander round hockley or have a drink and they will buzz you when your table is ready.

Looks like PP have already got this covered. Lots of nice places in Bridgford for drinks and food.

Ye Olde Jerusalem for a novelty pub

Boilermaker is closed now, 'lost property' for a hidden cocktail bar, it's on Hockley.

West Bridgford "high street" (Central Avenue) is a very short walk from the cricket ground. Lots of choice.

(was better back in the day with proper hardware shops, clothes shops, fishmongers, Fords, a petrol station, a post office where the staff appeared like magic in the triangular shop, <sigh> )

‘Lost Property’ is well worth a visit imo
