DS freezing in swimming pool?!

DS aged 4 has swimming lessons once a week and we have at at ted going to public sessions together too.

Five minutes into it he's shivering, teeth chattering etc.

Today we had to leave public swim 30 mins early because he was too cold to carry on. I was also in the water and don't find it cold in the slightest. None of the other children seem to shiver/be cold like he does.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can help him please?

Try getting him a short wetsuit. I've seen loads of kids wearing wetsuit type swimwear at our pool. Doesn't need to be full length, just as long as it covers the body it'll probably make a big difference.

Shortie wetsuit? Helps a bit with buoyancy too.

DD3 wears one in our cold local pool.

He definitely needs a shortie wetsuit.
