So.... long story short, I believe that my partner has used a private investigator. I have proof of this I think, but I can't share how I know.

It only cost £150, so for this I am expecting the input to be minimal? I mean...its probably not even half a days work for this.

Has anyone used one before? What would you expect this to be for?

What would you do now?!?!?! Confront them?

Hire a private investigator to investigate the payment to a private investigator.

Thanks all for the personal experience as it makes sooooo much more sense. As i had expected, the £150 is such a low fee that it likely is a search.

I will ask him now that i know what i am potentially dealing with. I was worried and having been in DV situations before, I was just over anxiously analysing I think. I said in jest the comments about being followed and roundabouts etc so there was not a concern he was following me or "trying to catch me out".
