First holiday in a long time. Flying Ryanair and trying to get me head around baggage rules, liquids rules, check in etc

I have priority & 2 cabin bags booked, had planned to take tote bag as personal bag but that's too big as are my rucksacks? Even though rucksacks are mentioned as an option? Don't want to incur extra charges.

Also currency/spending - I may have left things too late to organise here!

I have a hbos current account & visa debit card also capital one and M&s credit cards I think Mastercard?

Can I use these without it costing me a fortune? Am I better getting some euros and if so how do I find best exchange rate? (Maths is not my strong suit!)

Tips on liquids? It seems a very small amount 100ml will I need to pack most makeup and toiletries in hold bag? And if so how to protect items like perfume? (I may leave the perfume and just take body spray!)

As I said not been away in ages (pre smart phones!) so it's all quite alien to me. I need your help!

Thank you! I almost forgot sunscreen and I burn like a bitch!

It's 2 expensive lippies I'm taking plus a few cheaper ones that if anything happens to them no disaster but I love my make up Grin

Feeling overwhelmed.

So liquids in the clear bag do they also have to be in clear containers? Cos I have some stuff that's mini aerosol sprays?

Remember to check roaming charges for your network.

No, requirement is just that you have a clear plastic 1l bag that you can close (they give these out for free at the airport but you might want to try out rather than have to throw stuff away.)

Each item in there must be less than 100ml.

Remember if you're flying from a UK airport there will be a Boots air side so you can pick up any extras you need for the journey.

Is it cheeky to ask for samples of my favourite perfume at beauty counters?

Don't ask, don't get!

I've never needed to put powder in the liquids bag.

Done that. Data is ok it's calls and texts I need to avoid.

Ahh good cos I forgot sunscreen! Can get it at destination if need be but boots would be good

I got a new atomiser and the sales lady kindly put perfume in it too (my favourite)

Powders are mostly packed in hold case, couple wee ones in liquids bag which I've got one from Superdrug I measured should hopefully be ok

Thanks everyone for all your help and not massively eyerolling at me Grin
