How much for wedding present?

My lovely cousin is getting married next month and I’ll be going to France for the wedding with my dad, brother and sister-in-law (and their small kids).
My cousin and his wife-to-be haven’t set up a wedding list, though they said they would, so we’re thinking we may have to go down the cash route for a present.
What seems like an acceptable amount pp for a family wedding?
If it makes a difference, it’s in a swish venue, with festivities over a couple of days.
I’d so much rather get them something from a list - giving cash feels a bit awkward! Even if they decide they would like vouchers, that still means settling on an amount. Haaaayelp!

Does £500 from four adults (and two tinies) sound a bit tight?

I hate giving cash as a wedding gift. I would only do it where I was explicitly asked to do so - I always think a gift shows are thought. I would but them a nice, useful gift - very good quality towels or bedding in a neutral colour can never go wrong. I would only expect to spend about £100 so that might mean just a pair of towels! I would expect the other adults (your dad and B/SIL)to do whatever they wanted and wouldn't take on the task of deciding for them.

£500?! I'd give 50-100.
