Hi, sorry if this seems a bit of a daft question but I’m new to all this and just at bit confused. DS is 2 and was referred to SALT by the hv. At his first appointment the other day, they asked me a few questions, then watched him play for 10 minutes. That was pretty much it. Yesterday I received a letter that stated he was being offered further assessment and that he’s been allocated 3 packages of care. Does anybody know what this means? I will probably contact the number they have given me to ask a few questions but I just wondered if anyone had first hand experience. Are they suspecting something other than a speech delay? Thank you
