Stupid maternity pay question

Hey so I have a stupid question about my maternity pay. I realise I should already know this but I don’t. I am really lucky with my maternity pay from work - I get 6 months full pay followed by 3 months statutory and 3 months unpaid. I’m about to go down to the statutory portion. Now I was assuming that I went straight down to the 172ish pounds a week but I just had a thought today - do I still get the 6 weeks at 90% pay first? I’m assuming not and that’s what I’ve budgeted for but it would be a lovely bonus if I did!

Does anyone know how it works with enhanced pay going into statutory?

No I'm pretty sure you don't get the 6 weeks at 90%. You got that for the very first 6 weeks and your employer topped it up to your full pay for that 6 weeks and the next few months

In short no.
basically enhanced means they are putting money on top of what the government statutory is.

No you won't I'm afraid. You got your enhanced pay for the first 6 weeks of mat leave instead. It will be the normal SMP rate. Your SMP weeks have been ticking since you started maternity leave so you will have 13 weeks of normal SMP left after your 6m of enhanced pay.

No it was already included in the initial OMP .

Your company will be topping up SMP for the first 6 months you will an SMP line and an OMP line on your payslip each month.

Thanks all - that’s what I figured!
