Report safety issue

Not sure where to post this, more of a question than chat.

Facebook ads keep showing me a non UK approved car seat. Business, not a private sale. I think it should be reported to authorities as its a completely soft chair, think rucsac type design. Offers no impact protection or rear facing option.

Tbf probs better than nothing but no way would it be legal here.

Tried to find a link on trading standards but our local one doesn't seem to have any options other than contact CAB for advice.

Wondered if there was some national scheme to report things?

You can report the seller or manufacturer to the Office for Product Safety and Standards.

However, lot of FB adverts are bait and switches for products that either don’t exist or are for non-UK based companies, which algos connected to your own browsing have caused to be shown to you, so the product may not actually be an item for sale in or to the UK.
