Two adults going chessington no kids, will it be fun?

My DH booked Chessington instead of Thorpe Park. Has anyone gone there with just adults? It is overnight Mardi Gras event.

I stopped going to Chessington when kids were teens. The rides were v dull for older kids. But I guess you can do the other stuff there? Not sure about Mardi gras there. But always lots of little kids.
We do Thorpe park or travel to Alton towers now. X

It depends how much of your fun derives from big rides! Chessington only has one ride with an inversion, for example. Other than that there are some fun rides but nothing on a par with thorpe parks bigger stuff.

There is the zoo and sealife, Mardi gras is basically singers and dancers around the park. It gets annoying after a while!

It will be full of small kids too..
