So I believe showings are 2pm and 7pm.
What did you do or where did you go inbetween?

We went for dinner - the tickets were to celebrate my mum's 80th and we went to the Ivy which is nearby but there are loads of other lovely places and Chinatown is pretty near.

A gorgeous Italian dinner, it's so good I'm jealous I want to do it all again!!

Wigeon · 18/06/2023 22:34

Ate dinner! Went to a great nearby Vietnamese place.

Singleandproud · 18/06/2023 22:34

I made the mistake of not booking dinner reservations, we had done something in the morning and DD was tired so we went to Pizza Express got takeaway pizza and sat outside the theatre and ate it.... Would not recommend lol.

Went for dinner nearby too. Enjoy!

I just booked it today for me, DS and DD, 22 Dec. Christmas present for us all. Excited already 😊😊😊

We did this too. Wonder if it was the same place.
Did it have the next day's dough churning?

There was also a HP pop up shop/gallery thing and we spent some time there

Wolfiefan · 18/06/2023 22:53

I soooo want to do this!

RumbleMum · 18/06/2023 22:58

Dinner (make sure you book) and a painfully expensive trip to the London Graphic Centre. The break isn’t as long as you might think. Have fun!

We went around the corner to visit house of MinaLima, it's not a very big place but it's worth a look, some of the artwork is great. There's a lovely big book shop near there as well that we wondered around for an hour, I think it's called foyles maybe. Then we got some food and then it was time for the second half. The play flys by so enjoy it

TiaraBoo · 18/06/2023 23:04

Same- house of MinaLima and then dinner

ithinkicanithinkican · 18/06/2023 23:11

Dim Sum in Chinatown, plus a look around the Lego store.

Longingforthesummer · 19/06/2023 12:06

We went to Cecconi’s Pizza Bar which is close to the theatre. Also had a wander round Foyle’s afterwards.

We ate at Caffè Concerto on the Strand (didnt need a booking; child suitably wowed by chandeliers etc), and browsed a couple of shops on Charing X Road (the one with all the Harry Potter stuff, plus some other flashy tech shop DS was excited by) on the way back.
