Does anyone here have a battery powered grass trimmer. There is a lot of long grass growing on the drive way now. I need to cut it.

I will need a grass trimmer. I don't drive so I can't go to Aldi or Lidl.

I want to buy online. I would like to get a deal or a sale too.

I had a look at matika and also Stihl grass trimmers but they are too pricey. I would prefer a budget grass trimmer around a hundred but I could be swayed easily to spend 50 more.

I have a karcher strimmer. Very happy with it.

Another vote for Karcher. I've got the strimmer and lawnmower. Batteries last well and work in both. Both a lightweight and easy to manouver, and so much easier than corded versions.

I went with Einhell, only because I was able to get it on a special offer when I bought. One of those where the batteries and chargers are bought separately so the same battery can run a whole load of tools. But, so far the only one I bought is the strimmer.

This is my one. It uses plastic blades, similar to some lawnmowers, which I've found much less trouble than the plastic line type.

Not the most powerful. It'll handle grass and light weeds but you'd struggle to chop down a thicket of brambles.

I’ve got the Spear and Jackson mower and trimmer duo from Argos, but you can buy them separately. They’ve been excellent with good battery life.

We have a black & decker cordless strimmer which works well for us

Available on Amazon amongst other places

McAlister here. It’s served me well over several years now with a decent battery life and doesn’t go through loads of line either. I have the same brand of battery hedge trimmer too.
I had mine from Screwfix initially but they don’t do the trimmer now, though B&Q do and I think it’s around the £70 mark.
