Feeling a bit lonely but didn’t want that in the title
Not very well so have wfh Tues-Fri. Have been out at the weekend but just to sit in the sun or shop. I don’t really have close friends I can call and live alone so popping in here. Been on MN a lot…

pull up a chair 🍷☕
Anyone been doing anything nice?

Hiya. Been to an outdoor concert with my cousin. We came away earli as we were both knackered. I don't go out much. Still worried about Covid. Have u git any sparkling mineral water? Hope I start to feel better

BCBird · 18/06/2023 19:45

U start to feel better, not I. I the queen of typos

Restrelief · 18/06/2023 19:51

Yes I think there’s a bottle here, open bar pop round and make yourself at home. I’m not much of a host tonight. What type of music @BCBird ?

I'll come too. I'm sorry that you aren't well. Sparkly water for me please. I'm probably a lot older than you so any music of your choice which is restful. I bought more plants for my garden pots, potted them up and my wee garden looks colourful.

Restrelief · 18/06/2023 20:01

Ooo - what have you planted? Don’t have a garden myself but I love flowers.

I’d love a coffee if you have any, if not tea will be lovely!

WFH is isolating isn’t it? So many people are jealous that I do it full time, but some days I can go the whole day without speaking to another adult.

I’ve had a nice day today, we have a lot going on with family illness so it was nice to relax a little bit. Haven’t done anything special, just pottered around and visited family. It’s just started to storm here so hoping it’s a bit cooler by bedtime too.

Casdentwo · 18/06/2023 20:04

Ooh I'm in ...had a busy day yday involved being out after dark !!!! Went to see the bodyguard musical...so had a little nap and up for a cup of green tea and a look around the garden if you don't mind 😉

LadyMacbethssweetArabianhand · 18/06/2023 20:07

Snapdragons, begonias, salvias, many yellow daisy types of flowers, a deep red foliage one whose name I forget and a white sphrygia I think it's called. My colour scheme is red, orange and yellow. I have strawberries in a pot and gooseberries in a pot.

LadyMacbethssweetArabianhand · 18/06/2023 20:09

Yosof I love thunder and lightning but sadly none where I live yet

Neveranynamesleft · 18/06/2023 20:10

MyFavouritePlace · 18/06/2023 20:10

I'm in too. I'll have a cuppa please. Had a busy week and weekend and have the work Sunday night blues!

UpUpUpU · 18/06/2023 20:12

Glass of white for me please. It’s been a busy weekend of achievements and firsts for my son. Been lovely to watch.

I’ve just had my last cake(s) ready for the 7 week panic diet before my holidays, that starts tomorrow 😬

Restrelief · 18/06/2023 20:13

So nice to hear people doing stuff. It’s pouring here - no storms and warm. I wouldn’t be able to fully wfh. Love tea, Earl Grey, whose garden is well worth a visit if you’re in NE England at all Howick Hall

Diet on hold here - hopefully I’ll manage the gym once this week, no point rushing or I’ll go backwards.

Oooh gin & tonic please . I really need to spring into action but I'm stuck on mumsnet 😩 I need to walk the dog , put the sheets on the bed and do some of a course I'm doing ! I need to get my bum off the sofa !

Icantremembermyusername · 18/06/2023 20:24

Glass of white for me, too, please! Have spent the last hour in the conservatory listening to the rain and thunder and doing the ironing. So glad I don't need to water the garden AGAIN and my hsyfever head ache is disappearing:-)

Restrelief · 18/06/2023 20:37

I did manage to change the bed, no cleaning though. Have a washer dryer that takes ages so still drying now. I should get up and have some food watch on a bigger (tv) screen.

I've just gone for my second cuppa. Trying to complete a form with my daughter regarding her uni choices. Progress is slow.....

Mollyplop999 · 18/06/2023 20:47

🖐hi, I'm in bed with a milky coffee. Been on a ride with my pony today but cut it short as it was so humid and she was being attacked by horrid horse flies. Been watching the rain, hopefully it'll feel a bit fresher tomorrow.

BCBird · 18/06/2023 20:50

It was a collection of tribute bands: elvis,Red Hot Chilli Peppers ,Madness and Fat Boy Slim. Was ok. Food was very expensive though😫

BCBird · 18/06/2023 20:52

Hand hold to anyone not looking forward to work tomorrow.

LadyDaffodil · 18/06/2023 20:54

Cold glass of Sauvignon Blanc for me please. I've moped all day, feeling a bit under the weather with a possible chest infection and also wondering if I'm peri menopausal as well

sittingonacornflake · 18/06/2023 20:57

Ooh a cuppa would be lovely, thanks. Been a lovely weekend here and so I'm really trying hard not to let the Sunday night blues take over!

PollyCreo · 18/06/2023 21:01

Glass of Chateau de Cardboard here 😅 I'm on sick leave here (first time in my life) and psyching myself up to go back to work on Wednesday 😨

Beaverbridge · 18/06/2023 21:02

Diet coke please, ice and a slice!. Out with DD sil, grandkids and my partner for Father's Day. Chinese buffet place, I went for the lightest options. Then to park for youngest to let off some steam. Home to chop down some bushes as gardening waste bin goes tomo.
