I've lost my reading glasses. Any psychics or wise and intuitive people who can help me find them?

As I recall, the last time I used them was Friday in the garden as I read a book in the evening sun. Pretty certain I brought them indoors after my reading session. I would have likely put them in the kitchen or the living room.

Didn't need to use them yesterday because it was a busy day doing Other Stuff.

This afternoon I wanted to use the reading pair for close up stuff but I can't find them. I fortunately have an 'intermediate' pair of glasses that I can wear as a substitute which I have been doing for general stuff.

Looked in all the obvious (and less obvious) places, even rifled through the kitchen bin in case they had ended up there. Nil, nada, zilch... There is the possibility that the dog may have hidden them for the hell of it but it's unlikely...

Ergo I need the help of all you intuitive/psychic etc. people if you have a moment to let me know where they are!

Have you had a look under the cushions on your sofa?

I usually find I've put things down on to of the clean laundry in a basket and then put more on top, hiding the missing object. Some that more than once

Thank you for the suggestion @Luckydip1 I don't have cushions on my sofa but I do have a 'throw'. I have looked under it but there's nothing there 😪

Are they in the kitchen near your draining board/where your dishes/cups are dried or stored.

Do you have a utility room/toilet? Everything we lose is found in there. Put down just for a second then forgot about, then someone chucks a pile of laundry on top or similar and it's goodbye for weeks

By the fruit bowl or area you keep admin?
On a windowsill hidden by a curtain or vase?

Thank you for the suggestion - triple-checked but they are not near the draining board nor in the cupboard where I shore my cups. Dishes are in a different cupboard so unlikely to be there...

Yep - thank you - tried the top of the freezer/tumble dryer, surfaces in the bathroom. I'm beginning to suspect the dog more and more...

Dare I admit I don't have a fruit bowl? 😊Looked in admin areas, windowsills, no vases, no curtains in the kitchen but nothing behind those in the living room but thank you xxx

If you were gardening as well as reading did you plant them? I’m still thinking the garden.

Go back to the first place you looked and look more carefully. Lift up everything in that area.

I was purely reading at the bottom of the garden in the evening sun when I last wore them - gardening all finished for the day. I was sat there with my book, a G&T by my side which I sipped occasionally and a sun hat on my head. The sun hat is there on the kitchen table, the book is there on the kitchen table but the glasses are missing. I will go down to the bottom of the garden now to see if they are there having not been brought in with everything else. Thank you for the suggestion.

Ask the borrowers to return them in the place they’re most likely to be, then walk away somewhere else for a short while and usually when you return they appear almost out of thin air!

Thanks - I will do that in a minute when I can leave the dinner prep in the kitchen for a few minutes...

Were you wearing a cardigan or the like? Have you checked pockets?
