Potty training and clothes

Hi all

I'm after a bit of advice. Started potty training DD yesterday, went with the nothing on the bottom half approach and it was quite successful, but today we've put her in pants and a dress and it's proving much harder. She can't seem to pull her pants down without taking them off completely?! Been trying to show her but she just can't seem to do it. Am happy to put them back on for her but not sure what they will make of that at nursery. Any words of wisdom much appreciated.

I think this is fairly normal. In fact DS continued to take his pants off every time until he was about 7/8. So perhaps work on putting pants back on as well as pulling them up and down? Sure nursery will help with clothing if she needs it (or she may do something different at nursery anyway).
