Sinkhole outside my home im petrified

A sink hole has appeared outside our home, im petrified that the house is going to fall in to it. Do I need to consult our insurance to let them know or anything like that. Has anyone had this happen to them its due to be fixed but not for a few days now so the workmen told us.
Im really anxious now 😬

I personally wouldn’t tell the insurance in case they turned it not a thing and premiums shot up. Is it being fixed by the council? Contact them for reassurance that it doesn’t effect your property.

how big and how far away from your house?

if access to your property is in anyway affected then, yes, call your insurance.
