Help me work out curtain size I need please

They’re to go over a sliding door into a balcony. I would like curtains with the inbuilt ring which goes on the rail. I also would also like to be able to push the curtains back away from the doors so they don’t cover them when they’re opened (there’s enough wall either side).
Anyway, diagram attached but basically door opening is 2mx2m and there is 28cm to the ceiling from the top of the door opening. I can’t work out what length or width I need. Don’t really want to have them shortened but will do if need be.
(I’m aware I won’t win MN diagram of the year 😂).

I would be a set of 2 curtains, each from 1.5 to 2m wide, depending on how full you wanted them to be. 1.5m would be the minimum to me. And a minimum of 2.28m long. I suspect, for ready mades, you would have to get them 2.4m long and get them shortened.
If you take your diagram into any curtain store I am sure they will help you select the right size.

I have just looked again and seen that that measurement is to the ceiling.

If you can get some 2m long and put the pole level with the top of the window that would work too. Or if the windows are sliders or open outwards you could even put the pole into the recess. Get the curtains firs and then put the pole at the exact height for the curtains to just reach the floor

@NannyGythaOgg thanks. That’s helpful. I don’t want to put them in the recess as I want to push them to either side of the sliding door along the wall so they don’t block the light out.
I’ll be ordering online and won’t get into a shop but that’s what confused me - the ones I’m looking at come in 187cm or 229cm drop. Either too short or too long!
