Tesco clubcard voucher question please

I changed my points for reward vouchers over the last few days when the offer of 3x was ending. Never done it before so wasn’t sure what I was doing. The system kept crashing over and over and I kept trying. All this resulted in me just trying over and over for pizza express vouchers which I can see are now appearing in my reward section. But my question is this, when the voucher appears, is the value showing, the actual points voucher (lower amount) or is it the 3x amount??

The value should be the amount you can spend in Pizza Express. So 3x the value of clubcard vouchers you exchanged.

You should have had an email from Tesco Clubcard confirming the order.

I've got a couple that are showing as pending still but I'm hoping they disappear as all the ones I actually got email confirmations for have now turned into vouchers.

That’s what I thought. It’s quite confusing though. For example I kept trying to put through £30’of vouchers, to spend £90, but the email comes through with a voucher for £4.50, £9, £18, so it’s very hard to actually track what I ordered against the emails. I still have a couple of vouchers pending so not sure what their value is, but the rewards I can see, add up to almost the amount of points I had in the first place, not 3x that amount. I expected the reward vouchers to add up to £300 if I had £100 of points voichers but they don’t

It’s the 3x amount.

For example I changed £75 for hotels.com and this is how it displays.

Everytien Iv done pizza express they come through like too… instead of one coupon for £30 I get 3 for 4,11&15 for example.

Not sure why.

Thanks everyone. I’m hoping that when the last couple of pending ones come through, it will become clear. The amounts I’ve got showing now add up to slightly more than my original amount, nowhere near 3x, so hoping the last 2 are for a lot more, otherwise I have no idea what’s happened!

I think they have been floored by everyone changing them up last minute so they are taking a lot longer to come through… one of mine took two days.

another one took 3 hours but I changed it up at 2am

It was only 3x the amount up to the 15th then its 2x amount but it took me 4 days before mine were accepted eventually luckily on the day before it changed to 2x ..it was rubbish that the app wasn't working well...but got email verifying and got my voucher code 2 days later yesterday

Thanks for your help everyone. As I was on this thread, the pending ones (2 of them) turned into several vouchers of 30, 30, 15, 30, 9 etc etc, and now I think I’ve got the value I should have. So many vouchers which I don’t understand but like a pp said, maybe this is how they do it with pizza express!

Check your confirmation email. This should have come through when you placed the order - perhaps in Junk/Spam. This will show how much you exchanged and how much to expect in codes.

I exchanged £30 and received 2x£30, plus some smaller vouchers to make up the difference. This is really handy, as you won't get change if you don't spend the full amount.

Remember to check the conditions on the vouchers too. Food only, not drinks, etc.
