Camp America & Phone

My DD is going to do Camp America in a couple of weeks. She has a Virgin Mobile (that seems to have switched to O2) SIM card with a monthly tariff. Does anyone know if I need to buy a new SIM card or is there a better way for when she is in the USA? Virgin Media is the trickiest company to communicate with so I’m trying to get some suggestions first. Thank you.

My daughter was sent a SIM in her pack from Camp America. She hasn't used it though (she went out Monday) as the Wifi is good where she is. You can also get an eSim by downloading an app to her phone.

Tbh my daughter hasn't done the app either, but I know someone else out there who has. It's called Airalo, or there's also Mint Mobile, I believe.
