Puzzle books for grown ups

Can anyone recommend anything to entertain us in the evening on holiday please?

We've had some puzzle books before where you read clues and have to solve a riddle/turn the book around/crack a code before going onto the next page.

Last year on holiday I took logic puzzles but they were all way too difficult.

Journal 29 but it’s really hard

We do phone quizzes and games of Yahtzee

Journal 29 is tricky, agreed, and when you can solve a page it's frustrating

Have done very little of Journal 29 and it was bloody difficult but thanks! Anything else along those lines but easier?! Tried googling.

Ordered Murdle but think it's just logic grids.

Following this..... loved those solve a puzzle, mystery activity books when I was a child! Would love to do them with my daughter now so any suggestions would be great 😊

Cains Jawbone is a book I got my uncle and its a paperback book full of mixed up pages which, when sorted correctly, solve six crimes (iirc)

It's not of the same genre, but there is a card game called Phase Ten which has ten challenges to beat. You progress at your own rate, and the first to get the phase ten challenge is the winner. Its good because one can get stuck on a set level and the other races ahead then boom all of a sudden the table tieb.
