How long will a cheesecake with fresh cream on the top last?

A friend has asked if I can make a cheesecake for him for Saturday but tomorrow is the only day I can do it. Will fresh cream on the top last until Saturday?

I would probably make it and then add the cream Saturday.

Is it going to be whipped cream? If so could he whip it himself? If not, could you whip it, deliver it separately in a bowl and him just give it a quick go with a normal balloon whisk on Saturday just to stiffen it up?

Tbh I would be more worried about the buttery biscuit base going soggy but I expect if you make it tomorrow evening it will be okay.

I can't do it on Saturday, I won't have time 😕 I'll have to see if he can sort that bit!

I was going to say about 2 minutes in our family. 😂

I have a cheesecake in the fridge that I made on Monday morning. The chunk we had this evening is fine (as is the base). It has double cream in, although it is not baked at all, so might be a different recipe 'type' to yours

..and to answer the smartypants with their 'it only lasts 37 seconds in this house' the reason it is only partly eaten after 2 days is 'cos I am trying to diet (again).
