What does it mean if DC is on the Master's list?

DC sat an entrance exam last year. We were told that he'd been placed on this 'list' but not how he'd done.

Not expecting him to get in for September but just out of interest.

I thought they could have told us seeing as we paid for the registration!

I'd post in education with the name of the school.in the title as this will be school specific

Have they offered him a place - in which case maybe short listed for some kind of scholarship or by "master's list" do they mean waiting list?

DS was on a waiting list for a school he loves and was desperate to go to but sadly they're over subscribed so they've not offered any places from waiting. It's absolutely gutting

Totally depends on the school, that’s not a term that’s used across private schools. Ask them?

This, just give them a call. It's not a standard term. You could also google it with the name of the school.
