Does anyone know much about formula one racing? Looking for gift ideas!

I have a new DP of a couple of months (known him for a very long time prior to getting together) and it’s his birthday in august. He’s Formula One mad so I’m trying to think of something related to get him that isn’t too £££…
I don’t know much about it (I’m getting more familiar though haha!) and wondered if anyone could share any ideas?

To be honest I wouldn't get him anything F1 related. People who are into it know what they like and you are unlikely to get it right. I know from experience, having spent my whole life with car people. For a fairly new boyfriend, I'd ere on the side of caution and get something neutral like food, wine etc. Or something for you both like a weekend away.

Which team/driver does he support? Team specific stuff can be pretty pricey.

I'd play safe and get a biography of one of the famous drivers or a book about the history of it - you can get these by decade.

I think there's also an F1 magazine you could get a subscription to

A F1 cassette. Great in this sunny weather too.

Do you know what driver(s) he supports? You can get something related to them or make something custom, like a poster calendar with their photos
