After 3 months we finally found, an inter grated hob in our price range that fits our hole. I thought they were all just a standard size, yes really, who wrong was l?

One of the things we needed was for it to be ceramic so we didn’t have to buy new pans and guess what ? After 2 people let us down to fit it they guy who came today and done it said have you got new pans as-well. I want to cry!!!!

Luckily l received £120 back in a refund yesterday so l can buy some but l think l am being unrealistic if l am spending over £80 on a set of pans l wanted to look bloody lovely. I can’t decide, l need help, please please tell me about yours.

thanks

I have Judge stainless steel pans with glass lids. 7 years on they are as new, they don’t have non stick linings, but clean really well even in the dishwasher.
25 year guarantee, they’re selling 3pans on Amazon for £60.

Scoville Neverstick - won't break the bank and marvelously easy to clean!

Kitchenaid - going strong 3 years later & I put them in the dishwasher.

IKEA frying pan etc are the best I’ve come across. They were recommended by the guy who fitted our hob and he was right!

@jackstini Thank you l went to Asda after the school pick up and got these, l never really thought about how l would feel about the weight of them l tried a few of them.

Thank you all, l feel like the pressure was just all on me and was worried about getting it wrong like l did the hob. Oh well it’s done now. Thanks again.

Stellar or Ikea

Skiphopbump · 14/06/2023 16:56

I got a set of scoville pans as a cheap starter kit - my plan was to upgrade and pass them into DD for uni but they are actually great. I also have a couple of ikea stainless steel pans too.

I dont think you can go wrong with Mayer pans
Meyer Stainless Steel Induction Cookware Set - 5 Piece | Robert Dyas Also in black but the stainless comes up nice after washing.
Whatever you do dont get Brabantia Minty 26cm Skillet With Lid | Dunelm a set of these ( couldnt find a set to link) . They are the stickiest non stick pans Ive ever come across - and the pretty blue outside marks at the slightest touch.
I use the Mayer 😉
