Non staining sunscreen recommendations

Help!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a bombproof non staining sunscreen?

Last summer left a litany of staining disasters (thanks DC) of sunscreen leaving yellow stains on white bedding, swimming costumes, t shirts, pants and shirts etc.

Generally I’ve tried not to worry too much as most of my summer clothes were darker but I’ve now bought a lovely white linen dress (yes what was I thinking) and I do not want to ruin it.

I’ve tried all sorts to remove the aforementioned stains: white vinegar; hot wash; cool wash; bleach; hanging in the sun (oh the irony that they sunscreen still works perfectly then) to no avail.

I use Le Roche Posay Athelios on my face (so that is ok as usually not against clothing edges) but DH and teens used P20, Nivea and Superdrug own brand last year.

But my white dress: the need is so much more urgent now.

Riemann P20 is the least straining one I have found. Though some types can be quite oily, so you have to be sure it's dried before dressing.

But IME all sunscreens stain to some extent. The stain appears after washing. The only solution is to spray oxygen bleach, like Vanish, directly onto any at-risk areas such as collars and cuffs before washing. For being I would do a pre-wash with a generous amount of oxygen bleach.

For bedding I would do a pre-wash with a generous amount of oxygen bleach.

Ah ok. Maybe that is the only way - copious stain remover prior to washing. I usually use vanish on short collars but may try the dr Beckmann.

Was hoping someone had the holy grail re actual sunscreen though.

Calypso sun screen doesn't stain.
It's white so you can see where you are putting it.
It's also cheap too.
