My dp's always been a bit like this, but since our children have grown up and moved out, he's getting worse! It's so sweet he adores them and is proud of them, but seriously, I feel like standing ready to hit the fire alarm if anyone asks him "And how are X and Y doing?" ( not their real names!) He has an interesting, productive life with plenty to talk about, we see a lot of them, we're very happy together, so none of the obvious reasons. He's just so delighted in them he can't stop talking about them! I do realise there are worse problems to have, but....Anyone else?
