Trump supporters: what baffles me.....

Is, and I am parking to one side whether you like Trump or not, ....is how can you possibly think someone, anyone forget who it is, can leave stolen top secret US government papers all over a golf club, with potential enormous consequences for your country and still, AND STILL, think that person is qualified to have another go at the presidency.

Just on this alone.

Like I said regardless of if you "like" Trump, how can you not at least question this action.

It's truly mind boggling. Just listening to the news with the supporters in Miami, they are out of their minds.

Barack Obama says in his memoir that there was this visceral reaction to a black family in the White House that created the environment in which a person like Trump could prevail.

That's possibly true but a lot of people who voted for Trump had actually previously voted for Obama but they felt he did next to nothing for the rust States and was much more interested in the liberal coastal states. Trump promised them things and it was a disillusionment with the previous 8 years that swayed many to vote for him. That and the fact that they hated Hillary Clinton! (And let's face it, she wasn't that popular amongst the Democrats either.)

And lets not forget, it was Obana's taunting and humiliating of Trump that actually fired Trump to stand in the first place! Obama had admirable qualities but humility and knowing when to let things go wasn't one of them. He paid for that in his first term as well.

Trump didn't even have the grace to turn up and hand over at Biden's inauguration.

I saw an interview on TV yesterday and the man being interviewed wasn’t one of the usual maga nut jobs but he said that whatever Trump did if he was the Republican candidate he would vote for him whatever he did because he hated the Democrats so much.
