ITVX - continue watching /previously watched?

Is it just me or do these functions not exist any more on the new ITV streaming service? I haven't used it in ages but just started watching a series - but i can't see which episodes I've watched, or if I stop watching an episode half way through, I have to manually fins where I think I last got to?! It's very annoying!!

I'm using free view play app on a smart TV if that's of any relevance...

I've found the same OP. The app seems to be crap!

It’s not working for me either. Just started using ITVX so thought it was just shit design but it used to have it did it?
It’s making watching being human very hard!

STV player (Scottish version of itv) is the same .

I need to start writing down which Brookside episode I’m at 🤣

Same here, and forward winding is painfully slow

It takes about 1 second to fast forward 10….that’s how long it took the other day. I was so bored I sat watching trying to work that out 😂

Same here. Given they are such a big company their online offering is really poor! We actively don't bother watching anything on it as a result

Same, was watching a TV series then it just disappeared. So if I want to watch it I have to search the programme, find what episode I was on and hope I'm right! Also not leave an episode half watched which is annoying....

Me too ! But worked fine on my daughters phone - she's at Uni. I used to ring her and ask where I had finished watching 😂. That was back in about Feb/March. Haven't used it since, it's too annoying !

It works okay on our smart tv, but you do have to scroll right down to the bery bottom to find it

It works via my Amazon fire sticks, iphone but not my laptop.

I'm watching it on my telly and it never links to where I left off. There seem to be a few other issues with it, too. Sometimes it's painful trying to watch a show.

Same here. It’s annoying. And the fast forward won’t go at the speed it did last week either.

The adverts for it are seriously annoying, it’s very glitchy and I agree about not knowing where you are with it.

Yes it's ridiculous! I'm paying for the premium app with no ads and it still does this on my newish smart tv. No idea which episode of something I'm on and impossible to find my place if I stop mid-episode. Useless!
