Sending books to Australia

Have googled, but going round in circles> I want to send some books to a friend living in Australia (Canberra). Is there an on-line bookstore that accepts UK credit cards? Amazon.au didn't like my login....

Try Dymocks or google Canberra bookshops. Amazon tries to make everyone buy stuff in their designated country which is a PITA. There should be no difficulty in using your creditcard at an Australian store.

I buy from Amazon.co.uk regularly (not that I’m a regular user) and they shipped to Au with no problem.
