Odd question but just a thought about the mini pill?

I wasnt too sure where to put this question as its one of those which is still baffling me and the doctors too!

I have gone back on the pill over a few weeks now, well since the start of May, which is Cerelle, the mini pill, since then, strangely I have had a weird sore throat like acid reflux everyday day, occasional spotting, bad cramps, moods and just genuinely feeling odd.

Would a pill give you a sore throat? its like a scratchy feeling....to the point of losing my voice!!

We are thinking is it hayfever? but I have no other symptoms, is it acid reflux, but dont have bloating or heartburn, so we are thinking could it be the pill as it started at the same time? and in the years I was on different pills I never experienced any side effects really!

Any thoughts, as thinking of coming off it and not too sure what else to use instead as not too keen on the coil....anyone had any good experiences, well maybe better experiences, lol with the pill or suggestions? and if its not this, could it be hayfever as the pollen is really high at the moment...its all v odd but so annoying too!!

thanks so much, wasnt too sure who to ask/turn to?

I haven’t ever heard of people getting soar throats from contraception but side effects can often seem a little strange, suez it include it on the information leaflet that comes with the pill?

I have used the implant for the past 10 years and it works great for me. I have had very little side effects and the added bonus of only having to do something about it once every 3 years
