Why do you think this?
I would very much suggest it's equal. When they're little gender is irrelevant to referral. Possibly once they're teenagers, more boys referred in for concern of gang activity, criminality etc.. but lots of girls referred in for domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, missing episodes.

Well I don't think so! Maybe because once they become teenagers they're more likely to be in gangs etc, getting into trouble.
I have a personal story that says differently. XXX
